The Short Version

Privacy

This site collects only what the two forms ask for, uses it only to run the tournament, sets no cookies, and never sells or shares your details for marketing. The rest of this page is the detail.

Who we are

Battle on Imperial is run by the Canyon High School Lacrosse Booster Club, a volunteer parent organization in Anaheim Hills, California. Questions about anything on this page: battleonimperial@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

The team entry form asks for your school, the name, role, email and cell phone of the person submitting it, the same for one or two coaches, which teams you are entering and a note on where they sit, and anything else you want us to know. We use it to confirm your spot, send the entry packet and invoice, build the pools, and reach your coaches on tournament day.

The sponsor inquiry form asks for your business, website, your name, email and phone, the package you are interested in, and a message. We use it to follow up about sponsoring.

The vendor registration form asks for your business, what you sell and will bring, your website or Instagram, the booth you want, your name, email and cell phone, and — for food vendors — confirmation that you hold a business license and health permits. We use it to confirm your booth, send the invoice and plan the layout on the day.

The merchandise pre-order form asks for your name, the team you are with, email and cell phone, and what you ordered. We use it to match your Zelle payment, hold your order, and hand it to you at the tournament.

Emails you send us are kept with the rest of your entry, inquiry, booth request or order so we have the history in one place.

We do not collect anything about players through this site. All four forms are filled in by adults — coaches, athletic directors, team parents and business owners.

Who sees it

The tournament organizers named on the Meet the Team section, through a password-protected admin page. When a form is submitted, an alert goes to the organizers and a confirmation goes to the address you gave. Nobody else gets a copy.

Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared with or sold to anyone, including for their marketing.

Officials, the athletic trainer and field staff get what they need on game day — team names and a coach's phone number — and nothing more.

We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Where it lives

Form submissions are stored in a hosted database (Supabase) and the site itself is served by Vercel; both are US-based providers that process the data on our behalf and under their own security commitments. Emails are sent through SMTP2GO and text messages through SignalWire. Sponsor logos and names are published on this site only with the sponsor's agreement.

Photos on this site

The photos are of Canyon High School's own girls lacrosse program, supplied by the booster club and used with the school's permission under the media releases it holds for the players shown. If you are a parent of a player pictured and would like a photo taken down, email us and we will do it.

Emails from us

You will get a confirmation when you submit a form. If you ticked the box asking for tournament updates, you will also hear from us about schedule releases and game-day details — only about this tournament, never anything else. Reply to any email to stop.

Text messages from us

Coaches and the person who entered a team get text messages about this tournament at the cell numbers on the entry form: updates from the organizers, and on game day a reminder 30 and 5 minutes before each of their games and the final score with their pool standings. Nothing else, and never marketing.

Message frequency varies; on tournament day expect a few texts per game. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts, and START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or email battleonimperial@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cookies and tracking

None. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no cookies. The schedule and standings pages remember which team you picked, but that stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.

Two things do leave the site: the fonts load from Google Fonts (Google's servers see the request, as with any site that uses them), and the directions buttons open Google Maps or Apple Maps, which have their own privacy terms.

Your choices

Email us to see what we have on you, correct it, or have it deleted. If your team has entered, we will keep what we need to run the tournament and settle the invoice until the event is over, then delete the rest on request.

Changes

If this page changes we will update the date below. Nothing changes what we already told you we would do with information you have given us.

Effective October 9, 2026. Updated October 15, 2026 to add the vendor and merchandise forms.
